The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) visited the Curries Fountain stadium to monitor the preparations of their 4th anniversary on Friday.
The party, which will this weekend mark four years since its inception, is hosting an event which kicks off at 10 am on Saturday and promises nothing but the best for those who attend.
“We will show the best of the best tomorrow,” EFF commissar Godrich Gardee said.
Gardee said they are well prepared for the event. He also mentioned that they have recruited new members, whose identities they would not be announcing at this stage.
Gardee reiterated that this will be a big celebration and that the EFF will also visit other places in South Africa as part of their birthday celebrations.
EFF spokesman Mbuyiseni Ndlozi says they will be “rolling out a lot of artistic performances.”
Party president Julius Malema is expected to deliver his speech at 1 o'clock.
