Gauteng police launch manhunt for man behind JOBURG CBD SHOOTING

police have launched a manhunt for those responsible for a mass shooting in the Johannesburg CBD in which seven people were injured.
It’s understood that a group arrived in a minibus taxi on Wednesday at the corner of Jeppe and Goud Street and opened fire at another group believed to be homeless people.
The attack took place opposite the hijacked building where seven people died in a fire in July.
The police’s Kay Makhubele says that the gunmen had first demanded that the homeless group leave.
“There’s a man who came and said they must go and then when he came back, he came back with a group of people in a kombi and that’s when the friction started. That’s the person we’re looking for.”
