The former athlete was admitted into hospital on Thursday night after allegedly experiencing chest pain and shortness of breath.
The correctional services department has confirmed that Oscar Pistorius has returned to prison, after he was discharged from hospital on Friday.
The reason for Pistorius' visit to the hospital are confidential, says the department's Logan Maistry
“The said inmate has been discharged from hospital and is currently back at the correctional facility where he is being held.”
