Two in critical condition after a minibus taxi crash

Six people were injured when a minibus taxi and a car collided on the M19 near the R304 in Melkbosstrand in Cape Town on Friday night, paramedics said.
An off duty ER24 paramedics was on her way home at about 8.30pm when she came across the collision, ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak said.
“Upon assessment she found that the taxi overturned during the collision. Two people sustained moderate injuries while four others sustained minor injuries. Further resources were called to the scene to assist. The injured were treated on [the] scene and later transported to a nearby hospital.”
The cause of the collision was not yet known, he said.
