The Presidency has declined to comment on ABSA decision to close Zuma's Wife's account

The Presidency has declined to comment on a decision by Absa to close a bank account held by President Jacob Zuma's wife Thobeka Madiba-Zuma.
The Sunday Times reported that the bank had flagged unexplained millions of rands passing through her account.
The paper says this comes after the bank ended business relations with Zuma’s son Duduzane.
While the Presidency says it can’t comment on matters relating to the president’s family, reports suggest Madiba-Zuma has denied receiving a letter from the bank.
It apparently requested that she explains large sums of money passing through her account.
The paper said she has no knowledge of Absa’s intention to close her account.
It’s also not clear whether the warning by the bank is related to the Gupta linked controversy with Absa, which has closed the family’s accounts.
