A shocking accident around Durban a man died when his car collided with a truck – which subsequently drove off – at the corner of Hans Detman and Wiltshire roads in Shallcros on Saturday evening.
paramedics said "Just after 5.30pm Rescue Care paramedics were called to the serious collision".
“On arrival they found carnage. A truck had collided with a light motor vehicle in the junction, the truck then left the scene. Paramedics found the driver of the vehicle had sustained major injuries and had already passed away before their arrival. He was declared deceased on the scene,” Jamieson said.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) were in attendance and would investigate the cause of the accident.
