During the State of Nation Address on Tuesday Phumzile Van
Damme Democratic Alliance MP did not say anything or react when she was repeatedly
called with sorts kind of names “straat maid”.
The debate on State of Nation Address (SONA) in Parliament
on Tuesday were Phumizile Van Damme taken to the podium in Parliament to
responds towards the President Jacob Zuma State of Nation address that was held last week.MP was stood to a question when “On point of
order”.
Van Damme said”I won’t take any question from an idiot and
again I will never answer any question from an idiot”
ANC MP said”calmly I think she does not want to take a
question from me as indicated ,I thank you honourable chairperson”
“You are now showing them that you are committed to ANC and
you can do anything for them,meanwhile you were busy begging for DA membership
get seated”,Van Demme be allowed.
Van Demme was called to be discipline by other MP’s for
using offensive language .Van Demme responded are serious offensive language
don’t tell me that you were here when members was given ‘f***you’.
Modise said”I have never seen someone behaving like this on the
podium this is unacceptable please take your seat Honourable Van Dimme”.
MP shouted”she’s a straat maid”
“I will be looking into records of all members who were
making gestures and vulgar in language,you disrespecting the house and also
look into MP who was responsible for vulgar language although did not say
anything about Van Demme being called a “straat maid”
