She is in a critically condition after been hit by train

A 10-year-old girl has been left seriously injured after she was hit by a train in Kempton Park.

It’s understood the accident happened on Tuesday night near Suikerbos Road.

Paramedics say she sustained serious injuries to her arm and was in a critical condition when they arrived on the scene.

ER24’s Russel Meiring said: “ER24 paramedics treated the girl and provided her with pain medication before she was transported to Thembisa Hospital for further care. It’s understood the girl had been walking home along the tracks when she was struck by the train.”
