Pupil to be laid to rest after died in a freak accident

 A grade 6 learner at Edgemead Primary who died in a freak accident on the school premises will be laid to rest later this week.

Kyle Grace, who has been described as a vibrant and loved pupil, fell to his death on Thursday afternoon.

He apparently accessed a staircase behind the stage in the school hall and climbed into the ceiling.

He fell about 8m and was declared dead on the scene.

The case has been handed to the South African Police Service for investigation.
