A severe thunderstorm is expected in Gauteng this afternoon.
The South African Weather Service says from around lunchtime residents can expect heavy rain, damaging winds and hail.
Forecaster Dipuo Tawana says, “Severe thunderstorms are expected in places over the province from the afternoon. We’re looking at from around 1pm onwards.
