Progress has been made, after a Cape Town businessman kidnapped

The family of a kidnapped Cape Town businessman says some progress has been made in getting him back.
Zhaun Ahmed was taken outside his business in Woodstock last week, as he was heading home.
Ahmed, owner of Zhauns Business Opportunity Machines, was forced into a bakkie by three armed men on Tuesday evening.
The vehicle was later found abandoned.
Over the weekend, the family spokesperson Hanif Loonat revealed that the kidnappers had phoned them on Friday afternoon.
“At this point, we could reveal that contact has been made.”
Although it's understood Ahmed is still alive, Loonat says he cannot reveal details about what the kidnappers had discussed.
“Due to the obvious sensitivity of the matter.”
Police have called on anyone with information to come forward.
