"That's painful and awful for someone to die in this way"said Vermaak

“Paramedics from ER24 and other services that arrived on the scene found several people trapped and ejected from the taxi‚” said ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak.

“ after the arrival of paramedics Eight people were found with fatal injuries. There was nothing that paramedics could do for them,they was no sign of life for them that’s were they were declared dead on the scene‚”  Werner vermaak added.

All patients were treated at the scene after taken to various hospital for further treatment.The paramedics reported that  Five others had minor injuries.

“At this period‚ it appears as if no other vehicle was involved in the collision‚” Vermaak said.
