No classes at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University as fire approaches some of the Campuses

The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) had to close three of the campuses due to veld fire that has approached the three main campus yesterday night.All classes were negated on three campuses as last night one campus was affected badly by fire.
 NMMU spokeswoman Zandile said”all Students were exiled from the Sanlam Student Village‚ where the fire had got riskily close‚the power of the fire was really shocking.all students returned when the fire was extinguished‚”

  
The North‚ South and CSIR campuses were also affected by the fire.
“Firefighters operated through the night trying to cover the fire and all were safe nobody was hurt.”

Zandile Mbabela said ”the situation was being supervised for any possible flare-ups and all will be supervised in no time all students will return to their classes”.
